Depression

Bringing darkness into the light

Study Description

The darkness that comes from depression and sadness can be the kind of overwhelming that negatively impacts every part of your life. Depression and sadness can make you believe the lies that you are dead inside and you have no reason to try.

That’s why this study about depression exists. For too long the church has remained silent on issues of mental health. We want you to know you don’t have to be overwhelmed by depression and sadness. And you don’t have to be stuck. While recognizing depression is often caused by a medical problem, we also want to offer you a healthy, godly perspective on living fully despite depression.

This is about how you can bring darkness into the light.

About the Study:
The Depression Study is a project of Crossroads Church designed to come alongside anyone living with chronic or acute depression and their caregivers. Together, a group of church staff and volunteers developed this study, consulting experts whenever necessary to ensure the content was prayerfully assembled to both point toward God and to provide practical tools and resources to those living with depression. We hope to add tools to this study over time. We’d love to hear from you! We invite you to contact us at depressionstudy@crossroads140.com with your stories, thoughts and input.
